As Tableau competitors coming up with products such as QlikSense and Power BI with mind-set of self service and eating up some Tableau market share… Tableau taking the game to the next level with Tableau 10 version in Desktop and Server. As we already know Tableau now provides Tableau Online option which is a Tableau Server in the cloud for the purpose of the report distribution to the end users. We know Tableau server is not just for report distribution… it can schedule and execute jobs, control security and lot more other things. Now, coming back to Tableau 10 Beta… how long the beta version goes through the testing phase? When can we expect Tableau 10 in the market? Is the tableau 10 going to release in third or fourth quarter of 2016? OR Early 2017? All these are the open questions… But my guess is, it could be at the end of third quarter… i.e. between August and September 2016! What all the new features that we are going to see in Tableau 10?
